Dutch meat processor Diviande has moved premises in order to take advantage of growing business.

The company, which handles the portioning and vacuum packaging of quality meat for the retail, catering, cash-and-carry and leisure markets, has moved from its base of 25 years in Twello to a new facility in Veenendaal.

The decision for the move happened 18 months ago, when the business felt that the Twello facility was too small to accommodate future growth. The new site covers a floor area of almost 8,000 m2, twice that of the Twello facility, and will enable the business to focus on high-care, convenience and halal products.

As well as providing more space for both domestic and international customers, Diviande has created an experience centre. This new centre will allow the firm to show customers the production process, packaging methods and brands.
Traditionally, Diviande specialises in supplying deep-frozen products, but can also provide freshly pre-packaged meat.

In addition to private-label convenience concepts for professionals and consumers, Diviande also has its own brands such as Portionfrost, Passion for Meat and, for third parties, The Meatlovers.
