Phenomenex ends distribution agreement with Brechbühler

Phenomenex has ended an agreement with Brechbühler AG and will now directly serve customers in Switzerland.

For over 26 years, the firm has partnered with local distributer, Brechbühler AG to provide customers with products and support.

However, both companies have agreed it is in the interest of customers for Phenomenex to serve its chromatography consumables needs directly.

Brechbühler AG is a company in chromatography, spectroscopy and sample handling.

Peter Pichler, general manager of Brechbühler AG, said: “This move will bring great value to Phenomenex customers, and our company will continue to focus on growing and servicing our global business components, providing scientific, analytical solutions with a value-added strategy.”

Direct presence in Switzerland will allow Phenomenex to provide customers with services such as access to technical training and support services, live technical chat, online ordering, increased product availability and faster shipping times.

Shane Lyons, president of Phenomenex, said expanding global operations will help to better serve customers.

“Going forward, we are excited for the opportunity to directly serve our Swiss customers with our world-class technical support and customer intimate service model.”
