Young people starting their food business careers should hungry for knowledge about the roles they’ve taken on and slip a “finger in lots of pies”, according to the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) boss Jane King. 

The AHDB ceo urged new starters in the food and drink industry to volunteer for lots of things in the workplace to show they were enthusiastic.

King was the inaugural subject in FoodManufacture.co.uk’s new video series which asks business leaders for one big piece of advice to their former selves to complement our sister title Food Manufacture’s​ Big Interview features.
