More than 90,000 pounds worth of ground beef products has been recalled after a consumer reported a chipped tooth.

Four separate consumer complaints were received at a retailer involving the ground beef and pieces of metal, 3 mm in size.

Sam Kane Beef Processors is recalling 90,987 pounds of the product, said the US Department of Agriculture’s (USDA-FSIS).

HEB Ground Chuck 3lb, Heb Ground Beef 5lb and 10lb and clear film packages of formed patties made from Sam Kane Beef Processors “Ground Chuck” 10lb were included in the recall.

The items were produced between September 9 and 18, with sell by dates between September 29, and October 8 and were shipped to retail outlets in Texas.
