Holland wins International Young Butcher Competition
Nathan Burggraaf and Joey Baan from Holland have been named overall winners of the International Young Butcher Competition in Switzerland this month.
Teams of butchers from Austria, France, Germany, Holland, the UK and Switzerland competed in the annual challenge, organised by the International Butchers Confederation (IBC).
The 18-23 year-olds competed in various rounds, including: ready to eat, stuffed roast, seam butchery, barbecue, kitchen ready and main course.
The competition took place in Bazenheid near Zurich, from 12-13 September.
