Aegis Food Testing Laboratories becomes Vanguard Sciences
Aegis Food Testing Laboratories (AFTL) has announced an expansion of company services and a name change.
Vanguard Sciences, as the firm is now known, has established four divisions to provide service to clients within the food industry.
The divisions include Product Testing Services for microbiological, chemical and physical testing and Research and Development for process validations and shelf-life studies.
Other segments include Food Safety Consultation for training, auditing and regulatory advisories and recommendations and Information Technology Services.
Company officers with Vanguard Sciences include Aegis founder Phyllis Antonacci, president and CEO and executive vice president and chief financial officer John Hayes.
Vanguard Sciences provides ISO 17025 accredited independent microbiological and chemical testing services.
