GlobalMeatNews Meat World Cup final - Russia v Brazil

What better way to follow the final of the FIFA World Cup yesterday with the final of the GlobalMeatNews Meat World Cup.

Russia and Brazil go up against each other in the final, and will face off on a combination of all four proteins – lamb, poultry, beef and pork – with the largest producer announced the winner.

Throughout, the Meat World Cup has followed the format of the FIFA World Cup and posted the results of each group, then stage, with countries competing on volumes of meat production, based on the official figures from the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organisation.

In the group stages the countries competed on levels of poultry meat production. The second round saw them competing on beef, the quarter-finals on pork, and the semi-finals lamb.

And the winner of the GlobalMeatNews Meat World Cup is... Brazil!
