Ardo UK’s boss to take over Danish arm of firm
Waugh has been tasked with bolstering the fortunes of Ardo Denmark by improving the firm’s efficiency and applying best practices.
During his time at the helm of Ardo UK, turnover has grown from £38M to £59M, the firm claimed.
Waugh, who will also remain in his current role, said he was looking forward to sharing his experience between the two countries and building Ardo Denmark into as successful a business as Ardo UK.
“It is testament to the quality of the UK staff that I am able to focus my attentions on Denmark,” added Waugh.
Out-perform the market
“It is the employees of the UK business who are responsible for posting continual growth and I know they are in a position to continue to out-perform the market.”
Meanwhile, Ardo UK was named Frozen Food Manufacturing Company of the Year at the Food Manufacturing Excellence Awards (FMEA) 2013.
