Our team of journalists is back in the office after three very busy days at FIE. In this final round-up podcast, we share our thoughts on the show.

From natural colours to sports nutrition, FIE 2013 covered a wide range of topics of interest to the European food industry. The level of activity in functional ingredients left NutraIngredients editor Shane Starling wondering if FIE and HIE (Health Ingredients Europe) might become one show in the future, covering both general food ingredients trends and healthy and functional ingredients.

Meanwhile, FoodNavigator editor Caroline Scott-Thomas spoke to several suppliers about trends in natural colours - a fast-moving area.

Look out for more coverage on the sites in the coming days, including videos, podcasts and text articles.
