Smart Fog launches food safety disinfection product

Smart Fog has launched a food safety disinfection product which offers a non-wetting, distribution method for disinfecting and microbiological control through a fogging solution.

The Smart Fog system uses low pressure compressed air, along with any water pressure, in order to provide the disinfectant and is available in a variety of forms, including mobile, conveyer, or whole room units.

Smart Fog claims the fully automated and hands-free machine distributes a dry mist of atomized material picked by the user and has a uniform 4.2 micron droplet that will fill every corner or space.

Ido Goldstein, director of Smart Fog, said: “Our new food safety technology will help keep the food supply safer, as well as help companies be able to prevent recalls due to contamination.”

The Smart Fog food safety disinfection technology system can be used in food process plants, post- harvest wash and treatment and animal shelters.
