FrieslandCampina Kievit makes sustainable palm status clear
FrieslandCampina will make clear which of its palm oil-based products have sustainable status for its spray-dried emulsions business arm.
The FrieslandCampina Kievit company will clearly display sustainable palm status on its ingredients – either RSPO Segregated (RSPO SG) or RSPO Mass Balance (RSPO MB).
Initially, the RSPO status will be displayed for the palm oil-based ingredients that are destined for markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North and South America, the company said.
Bas van Driel, business unit director for EMEAA of FrieslandCampina Kievit said: “As a manufacturer of ingredients, we also want to play a leading role in the area of sustainability.”
