AB Enzymes appoints business development director
Prof Dr. Karl-Heinz Maurer has been appointed as AB Enzyme’s director of business development, focusing on the company’s 2nd generation biofuels from biomass initiatives.
Maurer brings 25 years of experience in enzymes and biotechnology and was most recently head of Henkel’s biotechnology group.

Maurer will also be responsible for leading the company’s entry into other industries.
