Wild discusses positioning of adult soft drinks
At Brau Beviale in Nuremberg, Germany, we caught up with Fabiana Matucci, senior VP for strategic business units at Wild, to discuss the opportunities adult soft drinks present to different beverage companies.

Targeted at consumers over 30-years old, adult soft drinks offering healthy ingredients and more mature flavours are expected to become big business over the coming years.

Matucci said both brewers and soft drinks manufacturers are showing an interest in such products, although how the two groups position them is likely to differ.

She said brewers are likely play more on the malt experience while soft drinks makers may position products more towards functionality and naturalness.
