Lallemand Health Ingredients merges with Lal’Food
Lallemand Health Ingredients (LHI) and Lal’Food have merged in a move to benefit from synergies between the companies.
The new Lallemand Health Ingredients entity will provide ingredients for global dietary supplements and food markets, specialising in herbals, probiotics, and mineral- and vitamin- enriched yeasts.
“ Because of the many synergies between our two activities in terms of regulatory affairs, technical support, product management, operational marketing, logistic and sales, this fusion will benefit both markets and help us being closer to our customers, offering them strong product specific expertise,” said Nicolai Jensen, General Manager of Lallemand Health Ingredients.
A spokesperson for Lallemand told NutraIngredients that the restructuration will precede without any jobs would be lost through the merger.
