ADM Natural Health and Nutrition has expanded its Novasoy soy isoflavone further, with launch of the product in a directly compressible form to make processing easier.

Novasoy DC can be used in most supplement delivery formats including compressed tablets or hard shell and soft gel capsules, according to ADM.

Adding the free-flowing granules causes less dusting seen with other forms of soya isoflavones, it adds, offering more effective weighing, blending and tableting operations. The product contains a minimum of 40 per cent soya isoflavones and can be used on its own or in combination with other nutritional ingredients in supplements or foods.

Novasoy also comes in concentrations of 70 per cent, 40 per cent and 20 per cent for different applications and in a controlled release form, called Novasoy Daily soya isoflavone concentrate, developed using Controlled Delivery Technology (CDT) for supplements.

The US soybean processor is also launching its organic whole soybean powder NutriSoy on the European market at Food Ingredients Europe this month. The product has been nominated for the 'most innovative ingredient' award.
