The Belgian food company Orafti and its BENEO® brand will be applied to three new products. Orafi's BENEO® Programme indicates that products contain sufficient of the prebiotic active ingredient to deliver substantive health benefits. Orafti is to introduce TI'FLORA, a sweetener enriched with orafti's prebiotic ingredients, which are supposed to maintain the balance of the digestive system. Campina' will launch STASSANO, the first dairy product enriched with Orafti's RAFTILOSE® Synergy 1, whose property is to increase calcium absorption. Belgium's largest flour miller Ceres has launched FLORAPLUS bread as part of its healthy bakery products. This bread contains 50 per cent more fibre than other breads. FLORAPLUS contains BENEO®‚ to stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestine. Source: Orafti
