French flavours and perfume ingredients company Robertet announced this week that it has acquired P.A.B. Savoury from the Danone group. Based in Antwerp, P.A.B Savoury specialises in producing hydrolysed vegetable proteins HVP and speciality compounds for the food industry, including the Liebex" range. The takeover marks a move by the Robertet group to expand their business in the savoury flavours market. All savoury activity for the group will eventually be grouped on the Antwerp site. The new division will work independently under the Robertet Savoury name.
