UK ingredient supplier S. Black Limited announced on Tuesday that two innovative fragrance ingredients can now be procured through its company. The two ingredients, Methyl Diantilis and Nonadienol, are both manufactured by flavour and fragrance specialists Givaudan. Methyl Diantilis is in the same spicy olfactive register as Isoeugenol, with an additional powdery aspect reminiscent of carnation. Unlike Isoeugenol, Methyl Diantilis is not IFRA-restricted, nor does it pose discolouration problems. It is especially suitable for Fine Fragrance and Beauty Care applications. Nonadienol is a nature-identical ingredient with a powerful green, melon note. Structurally and olfactively closely related to Nonadienal, Nonadienol is fruitier and less leafy and also more stable in some applications.
