The French beverage group Pernod-Ricard has finalised the sale of its Italian branch San Giorgio Flavors to Kerry Group, the Irish food ingredients company, reports Les Echos. The deal reached Euro 35m. San Giorgio Flavors is the leading Italian food flavours manufacturer and has a portfolio of over 2000 flavours for salty and sweet food products. The company, which already owns two production sites in Italy, employs 87 people. Even if its primary activity is in Italy, San Giorgio Flavors exports in 35 countries in Asia and in Europe. This sale is part of Pernod-Ricard's program to focus on the wine and spirits activity only. Source: Les Echos
