An interactive workshop for fresh-cut processors entitled "Developing and Implementing HACCP for the Fresh-cut Industry", will be held May 23-25, 2001 at the National Steinbeck Center in Salinas, California. This workshop is co-sponsored by The International Fresh-cut Produce Association​ and The University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.​The seminar is designed specifically for the fresh-cut processing industry and will include lectures and work group discussions from a broad-based faculty of food microbiologists and HACCP experts. The International Fresh-cut Produce Association is a trade association that represents and provides technical expertise to commercial suppliers of fresh-cut produce, as well as companies affiliated with the fresh-cut industry, including equipment suppliers, retailers and food service operations.
