Leading US food group marketer, Heinz, announced this week that it had acquired Singapore-based Sinsin Food Industries. A new company, Heinz Sinsin, has been formed to develop the Sinsin brand in Singapore and internationally, a Heinz​ spokesman said. The acquisition will include Sinsin's leading range of Chilli sauces, soy sauce, salted soy beans, tomato ketchup, oyster sauce and a wide range of other traditional Asian condiments but will exclude its jam business. Heinz will keep the brand name"Sinsin" for its sauces and condiments. The two companies have not revealed the value of the acquisition and Sinsin's total revenue. Source: channelnewsasia.com
