Australian ingredients company Clover Corporation announced this week that five of its products have been endorsed for sale in the United States, opening upa potentially massive health market. Four of the company's pharmaceutical-grade tuna oils and its Driphorm product, used in baked goods, received the Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) status. "They will open one third of the potential world consumer market to Clover and give access to the home country of many of the key global food companies," Clover managing director Dr Erich Ott said in a statement. Clover,will appoint US-based Hauser Inc as its new distributor in America, Canada and Mexico.
