Australian wine makers BRL Hardy Ltd revealed this week that its new Reynellawinery in South Australia has been awarded Hazard Analysis Critical ControlPoint certification, a first for an Australian winery. BRL Hardy said itpursued HACCP certification for the facility following requests from globalretailers wanting to audit BRL Hardy as part of their risk management systems.The company said most state and territory governments are set to passlegislation in the near future requiring food businesses to implement HACCPcertification.
