Nestle India Ltd is looking to invest further into India's processed food market in the next few years, The Hindustan Times reports. In an attempt o introduce new products into India, the Swiss-based consumer products company will launch some of its global brands into the country and may acquire a few domestic brands in the Indian processed food market, the paper continued. The company will set up manufacturing lines for some of the new products planned for an Indian launch in the near future. These include products like ready to drink flavoured milk, butter, biscuits, new variants of noodles and sauces. In India, Nestle is present in many food categories such as pure milk, milk products, health beverages, and confectionery.
