The European Commission is preparing guidelines to help national authorities identify and put an end to the "totally unacceptable" and discriminatory practice of dual quality foods, Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker said yesterday.
The Slovakian Antimonopoly Office has put the breaks on a deal
between Carrefour and Tesco, saying that it would give the British
supermarket a monopoly over the market.
The Slovak government has launched criminal proceedings against
Tesco over allegations the retailer sold out-of-date meat products
