ROPUFA® "15" n-3 Emulsion - now for fresh milk!

Now, the company has launched a unique Omega-3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid emulsion called ROPUFA® "15" n-3 Emulsion. The new emulsion has been developed primarily to meet health conscious consumers' demand for fresh milk enriched with Omega-3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids. The ROPUFA® "15" n-3 Emulsion by DSM Nutritional Products is tasteless and primarily intended for fresh and pasteurised milk but also offers a series of advantages in the enrichment of yoghurt and UHT milk. The emulsion contains 50% of highly refined, deodorized and stabilized fish oil. It can be added to the milk by using a special dosing system developed and produced by Tetra Pak Arom Pak AB in Sweden (http://www.arompak.com). The use of the emulsion in combination with the Arom Pak dosing system not only offers the possibility to enrich pasteurized milk with Omega-3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids but also gives a number of advantages to dairy companies. The two most important ones are the reduction of extensive cleaning operations in plant and the possibility to use different filling stations for different products at the same time.
