Swiss food group Nestle is expected to report sales growth for the
first nine months of the year of 5.7 per cent, slowing from 6.3 per
cent in the first half of the year, on the global economic slowdown
The director general of the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organisation
(FAO) has proposed that a World Food Summit originally scheduled
for next month should be postponed until June 2002, the Rome-based
body said on Monday.
