‘Superfood’ flour
Lovenature Organic is rolling out a line of organic, gluten-free flours, syrups, and seeds into retail across Europe.
The 15 SKUs range from the slightly more conventional chickpea, oat, buckwheat, and coconut flour, to lesser known varieties including cassava flour. The latter – suitable for use in desserts, cookies, pancakes, and bread – is made from the cassava root, grown in volcanic soil in Indonesia.
Lovenature Organic is also selling Ugandan and Paraguayan chia seeds, cocoa, Panela sugar, and Manela syrup.
All offerings are gluten-free, which is good timing given the rise of the global free-from food market, noted the firm. According to Mordor Intelligence, this market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 9.5% during the forecast period 2020-2025.
Lovenature Organic says it has a ‘proactive approach’ when it comes to regenerative farming. Through direct partnerships with farmers, the company is ‘actively supporting’ a sustainable agricultural system that ‘gives back to the environment and indigenous communities’.
“We believe that producing organic ingredients in an artisan way creates a sustainable business model that gives back to communities and benefits the ecosystem as a whole,” said CEO Frank Arrigazzi.
“We want to go back to the way nature intended. We source and produce the best quality of organic dried ingredients directly from origin.”
