Halo Top launches UK ‘Platinum’ range
US low-calorie ice cream brand Halo Top is entering the traditional ice cream category for the first time with a product made from real cream and loaded with swirls and chunks, in both tub and stick formats.
Despite its US origins, the company is launching the Platinum Series in the UK market first.
The range will feature three tub flavours each containing 680–720 calories: Space Candy, Monster Cookie and Triple Chocolate Cake. The range will also include three bar flavours: Vanilla Crunch, Salted Caramel Swirl and Cookies & Cream, each containing 160-180 calories.
“With the launch of Platinum Series in the UK before anywhere else in the world, the UK has now become the centre of innovation for the brand,” said Justin Ball, President of Halo Top International. “We can’t wait for our UK fans to try Halo Top Platinum Series and realise that it’s just as indulgent and decadent as regular ice cream but somehow contains way less calories and sugar.”
