Behr steam foil-packed veggies
German agricultural cooperative Behr has launched a new product line of fresh vegetables individually packaged in steam foil.
The vegetables can be prepared ‘quickly’ and ‘simply’, Behr said. Consumers just put the product and foil in the microwave for a steamed finish, without adding water. This, combined with a short cook time, preserves the vitamin and mineral content.
Three varieties are being rolled out: cauliflower; cauliflower and broccoli and Romanesco pointed cabbage.
The veggies will be distributed nationally with an RRP of € 2.49.
