Risk of spoilage in baby food
Canada: Some Love Child Organics and PC Organics brand baby food pouches have been recalled due to packaging defects that may allow entry of spoilage microorganisms.
Products were distributed at retail level nationally. They come in 128ml pouches with best before dates up to and including May 25, 2019.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) said the recall was triggered by consumer complaints but there have been no reported illnesses.
Love Child Organics said a manufacturing defect caused puncture holes in the packaging of a small percentage of products.
