Condemned products sold on Facebook
Netherlands: Nederlandse Voedsel- en Warenautoriteit (NVWA) has warned consumers about chocolate spread and Lotus Speculoos 400g that were stolen and sold on Facebook.
Products were destined for destruction and can be dangerous to health due to glass splinters.
The warning only concerns items offered via Facebook and not products available in store.
Inlichtingen- en Opsporingsdienst (IOD) of the NVWA and police made an arrest earlier this week in connection with the incident. Some of the stolen product was found.
NVWA issued the warning after information from Belgian colleagues of the FAVV agency.
