Undeclared peanuts in chocolate covered almonds
Canada: Farm Boy recalled chocolate covered almonds as they may contain peanuts which are not declared on the label.
Milk Chocolate Covered Double Roasted Almonds 275g with best before date 21 November 2018 is affected.
Product, distributed in all Farm Boy stores throughout Ontario, has been reported to contain undeclared peanuts originating from the packing process at Rochef Chocolatier Inc. in Gatineau, Quebec.
The recall was triggered by the company and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is investigating. There have been no reported reactions.
