Salmonella in dill
New Zealand: Skazka Delicatessen is recalling a batch of dried herbs due to Salmonella and a high level of Enterobacteriaceae.
Leis brand Dillspitzen Getrocknet (dill) 50g has best before 10.11.2017 ('Best before' is written in German as ‘Mindestens haltbar bis’).
It was sold in Skazka Delicatessen, 16 Kingdon Street, Newmarket, Auckland and at https://www.skazka.co.nz/ and was imported from Egypt via Germany. There have been no associated reports of illness. It is an expansion of an earlier recall affecting other countries.
