Norovirus in raspberry mousse cakes
Canada: Various raspberry mousse cakes have been recalled due to norovirus.
The recall was triggered by a Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) investigation into a foodborne illness outbreak.
The Public Health Agency of Canada has not yet confirmed how many people are ill.
Products may have been sold frozen or refrigerated, or from bakery-pastry counters with or without a label or coding.
Michaud Citrus-raspberry greek yogurt mousse 650g, Jessica Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Cake 650g, Raspberry Mousse 35g, Raspberry Dream Cake 1070g, Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Cake 650g and Laura Secord brand Red Berry Chocolate Mousse Cake 90g and 85g Red Berries Chocolate Mousse Cake 485g and Top Dessert Mousse sampler cake 725g are among products affected.
Distribution includes Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Quebec and Saskatchewan.
