Nestlé expands recall
Croatia: Nestlé Adriatic has recalled a cereal-based food for infants and young children.
'Nestlé Žitne pahuljice Zob i suhe šljive s dodatkom kulture Bifidobacterium Lactis' 250g has lot number L 63610291 and date 06/2018.
An increased quantity of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons was identified on the European Union market in a similar product (Nestlé Cerelac Buiscuits L70080291).
Since the same raw material was used in the Nestlé Nestum Expert product made in Spain it has been recalled.
PAH compounds can be found in the environment and may be traceable to ingredients such as vegetable oils or cereals.
