Possible Salmonella in stir fry
England: Sainsbury’s has recalled a number of products because they may contain Salmonella.
Sainsbury’s Oriental Style Vegetable Stir Fry 300g, Mushroom Stir Fry 350g, Beansprouts 400g, Mixed Pepper Stir Fry 300g, Basics Stir Fry 700g, Hot & Spicy Stir Fry 300g and Sweet & Crunchy Stir Fry 600g are involved.
Dates up to and including 13 February are affected.
The supermarket said routine testing identified the possible presence of Salmonella in products.
Sainsbury's asked customers who have bought the products not to use them and return to their nearest store for a full refund. It added no other products or date codes are affected.
