Clostridium botulinum in baby food
Canada: Loblaw Companies is recalling PC Organics brand baby food pouches sold before February 9 because they may permit growth of Clostridium botulinum.
A manufacturing error resulted in excess water in the product, which could support growth of C. Botulinum and pose a health risk to consumers. For a list of names and where products were sold can be found here
The recall was triggered by a consumer complaint and there have been illnesses associated with these products.
