Arla recalls creme fraiche due to labelling error
Sweden: Arla has recalled creme fraiche incorrectly labeled as lactose-free.
Crème Fraiche 500g in beakers with article number 8254 and date 17-18 July has received the wrong aluminum foil which says it is lactose-free, but the packages contain standard Crème Fraiche with normal lactose content. The beaker is correctly labeled, said the firm.
For people with lactose intolerance it can cause stomach upset but it can be consumed by those who can tolerate lactose.
