‘Heritage’ purple carrot smoothie has health benefits
A new purple carrot smoothie released by Savse celebrated the “heritage” of the vegetable, while delivering health benefits, said the firm.
Savse claimed that the purple carrot has 28 times more antioxidants than the more common orange variety.
The new flavour will be available to purchase from stockists Harvey Nichols and Selfridges with an recommended retail price of £2.49 for 250ml bottles from July 6, with major supermarket retailers to follow.
Savse founder Guka Taveridze said: “Today's consumers are becoming more health-conscious and are constantly driven towards natural offerings and new or under-valued ingredients.
“We wanted to create a product that is not only visionary in its health offering but one that tastes great and brings new flavours to our discerning audience.”
