Pittcon has announced the Technical Program for 2016 with topics including food safety.

It includes more than 2,000 technical presentations in symposia, oral sessions, workshops, awards, and posters.

The Technical Program, analytical chemistry and applied spectroscopy, covers applications such as environmental, food science, genomics, lab management, life science, nanotechnology, polymers/plastics and water/wastewater.

The Technical Program at the event in Atlanta, Georgia begins on March 6 and runs to March 10.

Pittcon is co-programming with the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry with eight symposia on analytical methods and advancements in metabolics, chemometrics and ion mobility mass spectrometry.

Other partners include the Chinese American Chromatography Association (CACA), Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers Association (JAIMA) and Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).   

Exhibitors include Bruker, Eppendorf, Gerstel, Julabo USA, PANalytical, Restek Corporation, Sigma-Aldrich, Thermo Fisher Scientific, VUV Analytics and Waters Corporation.
