Western Graphite to acquire Atmosphere Global

Atmosphere Global produces non-corrosive, pH neutral, 100% biodegradable products that serve as cleaners, sanitizers and odour eliminators in industries including agribusiness, food processing, industrial and commercial cleaning.
It has done product research with field trials in Australia and the US with manufacturing and distribution established in Australia, New Zealand and the US.
Surface pathogen kill studies by Silliker Labs show that Atmosphere products kill pathogens in the food industry such as Salmonella, E. coli, Staphylococcus, Listeria and Asperigillus, so could replace chlorinated and other harmful cleaning and sanitizing methods, said the firm.
It added Atmosphere Odor Control works by deconstructing harmful gasses and brings pollutants to a neutral pH.
Western Graphite said it was ‘eager’ to market and distribute Atmosphere's products to markets such as the Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOS including Poultry, Hog and Dairy industries) that have the need for products to eliminate odour and gases (ammonia and hydrogen sulphide) caused by the decomposition of waste.
Atmosphere's EPA application approval process is in the beginning stage.
Upon EPA approval, it will make the pathogen kill claims in the US, as are being made in Australia. Atmosphere is currently being sold as a cleaner and odour eliminator in the US.
After finalization of the acquisition, Western Graphite will integrate Atmosphere Global ownership into its board and a change of company name is also expected.
