Undeclared peanut in granola yogurt
October - UK and Ireland: Yogurt with granola is being recalled due to low levels of peanut not mentioned on the labelling.
SuperValu is recalling its ‘Natural Yogurt with Granola’ and ‘Strawberry Yogurt with Granola’ distributed in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Glenisk is recalling its ‘Honey 0% Fat Organic Yogurt with Granola’ and ‘Natural 0% Fat Organic Yogurt with Granola’ distributed in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The SuperValu 145g products have 'use by' dates: 27 October, 10 November and 30 November 2015.
Low levels of peanut were detected in the granola used by Glenisk to produce certain batches of yogurts ‘with granola’. The granola is in a separate container attached to the pot of yogurt.
The Glenisk products also have use by dates 27 October, 10 November and 30 November 2015.
For the 'Honey 0% Fat Organic Yogurt with Granola’ use by 23 November is also affected.
