Arla issues recall due to lactose levels
September - Sweden: Arla has recalled its strawberry milk drink (Arla Mjölkdryck Jordgubb) because the level of lactose may exceed the permissible value.
The legal requirement for lactose-free in Sweden is <0.01g / 100g. The content of lactose in the product is 0.18g lactose / 100g.
The affected one-liter pack has best before date January 17, 2016. About five packs have reached consumers in Stockholm and Uppsala but all stores have stopped the sale and removed the goods from the shelf.
