Certco has become the ninth member of ROFDA (Retailer Owned Food Distributors & Associates) to adopt ReposiTrak to manage its food safety-related risk.

The internet-based platform helps manage regulatory, financial and brand risk associated with issues of safety in the supply chain.

More executives are realizing they are personally responsible for their supply chain’s compliance with FSMA, which began finalization in August, said Randall K. Fields, chairman and CEO of Park City Group.

It consists of two systems: Compliance Management, which receives, stores and shares documentation and manages compliance through dashboards and alerts for missing or expired documents.

Track & Trace identifies product ingredients and supply chain path in the event of a product recall.

This system can reduce risk by identifying backward chaining sources and forward chaining recipients of products in near real time.

Randall Simon, CEO of Certco Inc, said the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) require it to manage and store thousands of vendor documents.

We chose ReposiTrak to automate our document management efforts and especially liked the dashboards and alerts for missing, inaccurate or expired documents that will only engage our staff on an exception basis as we move forward.”

Park City Group completed its acquisition of all of the outstanding shares of ReposiTrak making it a wholly owned subsidiary in June.

ROFDA promotes and supports the retailer-owned distribution segment of the food industry.
