Staphylococcus aureus concerns in cheese
July - Switzerland: Enterotoxin of Staphylococcus aureus have been found in cheese from the company natürli Zürioberland.
The cantonal laboratories in St. Gallen and Zurich informed the Federal Office of Food Safety and Veterinary Affairs (OSAv) of the incident.
Products were sold in Migros Suisse orientale and Zurich, COOP, Volg, Spar and various small food businesses in German-speaking Switzerland.
They are brochette provençale, brochette barbecue, brochette de fromage à griller au lard et aux épices, fromage à griller nature, fromage à griller à l’ail, fromage à griller mariné and fromage à griller provençal.
