Albert Heijn cream recall
18 April - Belgium: Albert Heijn has withdrawn some vanilla and chocolate cream because the expiry date cannot be guaranteed due to what it called a 'technical error in the production process'.
AH dubbelvla vanilla / chocolate 1 Litre EAN: 8710400383420 before date: 5/4/2015 and Melkunie dubbelvla vanilla / chocolade 500 ml EAN: 8718166031234 before date: 5/4/2015 are affected.
Due to a technical error in the production process, the expiry date of May 4, 2015 can not be guaranteed with certainty. Consumption may cause a risk of microbiological contamination.
Albert Heijn has decided to temporarily suspend the sale until the problem is solved.
