Pittcon accepting proposals for technical program

Proposals are being sought for symposia in analytical chemistry and applied spectroscopy.
In addition to classical analytical and spectroscopic topics, areas such as bioanalytical chemistry, nanotechnology, environmental and food analysis, education and pharmaceutical analysis are welcomed.
The 2015 version included a food section with companies that offered products and services typically used by scientists in food science.
Milwaukee Instruments, Alpha MOS America, Bruker, Fluid Management System, Optofluidics, ADANI Systems, Horiba Instruments and USHIO were involved.
Pittcon said 28% of attendees were from outside USA; including Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Mexico and the UK.
Attendees include lab managers, scientists, chemists, researchers and professors, from industrial, academic, and government labs.
All proposals must be submitted electronically at pittcon.org.
