The Food (Scotland) Bill to set up a stand-alone body in the country has passed into law.

Ross Finnie will be chair of the agency and Geoff Ogle was named as chief executive.

FSS will have a budget of around £20m per year and employ 90 HQ staff in Aberdeen and 70 in the field.
