Listeria found in sausage
16 December - Canada: Franz Roessl Holdings is recalling ready-to-eat meat products due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Franz's Smoked Black Bean & Salsa Sausage and Gold Medal Kolbossa in various sizes packed on 14/DEC/06 with a best before 15/JAN/03 are involved.
This recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) test results. The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
